Calcium reactors Coral Cave
Coral Cave has two types of calcium reactors: type 150 and type 250. Both types can be dismantled completely for a thorough cleaning and maintenance. The choice of the equipment depends on the amount of evaporated water.
Type 150 (at the right front on the picture)
Perfect for an evaporation between 8 and 10 liter per day and this for a period of 3 weeks before the Calcium Hydroxide (200 gr) needs to be changed. These results are not guaranteed, as the quality of the osmose water / demineralised water and the calcium hydroxide have a direct influence on the results.

- 1,5 meter silicone tube for the intake with a tap and a backwash valve
- 1 meter silicone tube for the drainage

Type 250 (left front on the picture)
Perfect for an evaporation between 10 and 30 liter per day for a period of 4 weeks before the Calcium Hydroxide (600 gr) needs to be changed. These results are not guaranteed, as the quality of the osmose water / demineralised water and the calcium hydroxide have a direct influence on the results.

Ion Exchangers Coral Cave
There are two standard types available:
- 2 x 2,5L resin with a tube diameter of 110mm and a height of 52cm.
- 2 x 5L resin with a tube diameter of 110mm and a height of 82cm.
Exchangers are manufactured of PVC and very easily dismantled via 3/3 couplers and an air release valve. A connection for an in-line micro-siemens meter is standard included.
The micro-siemens meter is optional.
Exchangers are standard made of cation resin with color indicator.
Other sizes can be custom made at request.

Level Switches Coral Cave
A level switch to control the water level in a sump, a tank, ... ideal for water replenishment, to keep the salt level more stable or in combination with a calcium water mixer.
- Safe switching with a 12V switch.
- delay of 15sec on the switch to prevent the pump to go on and off to often (expands the lifespan of the rotor and the pump).
- switching capacity up to 1000W max

- bias current ca. 10mA
There is an optional 24V magnet valve (AC, max 10bar), available to drive your osmose equipment, ion exchanger, etc.
